Chatelaine Equestrian


It is a mystery as to who first ventured through the forests of the island and built the castle-stone by stone-on the cliffside. It appears to have once been a very grand stronghold, with many stables and towers and tall walls weathered by time. Many years ago, Arcelia Sharpe discovered Chatelaine on an expedition and secured right to the land without delay. The castle and stables were restored, and thus became Chatelaine Equestrian. Some say that the spirits of Chatelaine's creators still roam the halls to this day.

Location and Facilities


Chatelaine is located in the USA on a small island near the face of a steep cliff. It is surrounded on three sides by verdant rolling meadows and a sheer rockface to the north. Dense forests are located to the south.

:bulletwhite: There are seventeen fenced meadows surrounding the castle, each ranging in size from five to fifteen acres. Not all are used, but horses are separated due to necessity.

:bulletwhite: The main stable has seventy-five stalls and is located to the Southwest of the castle.

:bulletwhite: The King's Stable is located to the West of the castle and includes twenty-five stalls.

:bulletwhite: There are two covered and one uncovered arenas. A round pen is located on the incline of the hill below the East arena.

:bulletwhite: Send me a note with a link to your horse and my horse which you would like to breed with.

:bulletwhite: Both horses involved must be listed as at least five years of age and have adult reference images.

:bulletwhite: Payments for breedings must be complete before the foal is allowed to be designed/exist.

:bulletwhite: I may require that I design the foal for certain horses-please check the horse's reference.

:bulletwhite: The new foal must have a reference within one month of breeding!

:bulletwhite: You must agree to/be accountable for CE breeding rules before breeding is allowed.

Mission

Chatelaine Equestrian's goal is to produce fine horses who are well-mannered, athletic, and well-suited to their discipline, as well as bred with unique color and refinement. There are many breeds present at Chatelaine, with only exceptional animals being brought in. There is no main discipline--each rider is matched with a horse and competes in disciplines which suit them.
