Character
Connor is very laid-back for a stallion. His gaits are slow and controlled, making him a very comfortable ride. He likes to be taken out on trail rides, but becomes distracted in the presence of mares and does goofy things. Connor is easy to catch in the pasture and will stand still for saddling, grooming, mounting, etc.
Though Connor is very laid-back, he knows how to say when he's had enough. If he's pushed too hard, he will buck and kick. He does not like to be left alone for long periods of time, and needs almost constant attention from people or other horses.
History
Connor was well known in the western pleasure ring when he was younger, but his fame faded when was found that his owners had been using tranquilizers to keep him calm around mares in the show ring.
He was competed in trail competitions for a while, then given to the owner's daughter to ride. When the daughter got a barrel racing horse to ride, Connor was all but forgotten and became restless and lonely. His owners decided to sell him to a home that would have the time to ride him all the time.
Justin had been looking for the perfect horse for almost six months when he stumbled upon an ad for a sale at Serenity Lake Stables. He arranged a visit and went to look at the horses. He saw many beautiful horses of all different types there, but one drew his attention among all the other horses.
The tag on the horse's stall claimed him to be Desert Constellation, and Justin couldn't take his eyes off the stallion. He'd always loved paint horses, and now, here was one for sale that was just what he was looking for!
Justin couldn't help thinking, as he patted the horse on the nose, that this horse would be perfect.
